Inspired by this song by The Dining Rooms, I starting thinking of my own list of "Hiphopper... Punk Rockers". But in my version they are called "Truth Farmers... Snake Charmers". It's a pleasant way to kill an evening or two... sitting around and reflecting on the artists, writers, film makers and musicians that have brought great joy and meaning to your life. Here is my silent tribute to the list.

Can you spot the crossover between my list and the song?

Out of these 49 names, I've heard of 24 of them, I'm familiar with 15 of them, and 7 of them I like.

Tempted to post something like this myself. Kind of surprised I've never done it before.

Hmmm... if I had to guess the seven that you like:
Alan Moore, Dave Chappelle, Matt Groening, Spike Jonez, Bill Murray, The Coen Brothers and Ian McKellen.

But maybe you like David Byrne, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Michael Cera, Michel Gondry, Paul Thomas Anderson, Sylvia Plath and Jill Scott.

Of your 14 guesses, 6 were correct: Matt Groening, Spike Jonze, Bill Murray, Ian McKellen, David Byrne, and Michel Gondry. The 7th of my 7 is Joss Whedon.

However, while I enjoy the work of these individuals, none of them have brought meaning to my life. Which means you and I should probably stop sleeping together.

I ruled him out due to your "TV sucks" stance. Razzlefratz.
