Here It Is...

The highly anticipated Case Management #2 is now available. This image should resize to fit your browser window, so blow it up big in order to read the text. I think this will be the last one that I'll have in portrait dimensions... the rest should be landscape in order to make best use of the screen. _Cartoons

This cartoon also has a strange reason why I found it fascinating. If you're going to have grandiose delusions... why bother imagining that you're Robin... How lame is that? You've got to be Batman, right!? So, if the lunatic is imagining himself as Batman... how come he's riding shotgun?

CM is shaping up nicely. I like your art. the subject matter should provide great mining. I wonder if you are going to start working within some structures, like a poet working with sonnets or pantoums. I try to recast the two strips so far as three-panel gag strips. I'm not saying they would be better, I'm just saying.

Right now I'm embracing the freedom of no structure... that may change as I grow more comfortable with the work and feel capable of designing inside boxes.
Right now I'm thinking how much my stuff sucks in just the same way that Harvey Pekar's stuff sucks. Maybe someday it'll suck as good as Robert Crumb's.

Comics scholar Scott McCloud is all about the infinite canvas... just wondering.
