Summer Idylls
I pulled my guitar from out of the corner for the second time this month... this time to record a tune called Island Life. It's meant to capture that lazy Summer loungy feel. It reminds me of the music we listened to as we whiled away the days at a swanky outdoor pool called Breach Candy in Bombay, India.

How very languidly/tropically pretty and serene.

Very very beautiful John. Have you got a repetoire? Please share.

Niiiice.
Perfectly conveys the quality you describe.
Ya shoulda seen the soft, slow-moving patterns it produced in my Windows Media Player.
The tempo needs to be doubled, and there should be at least 400 more notes just in that first measure. ;)
Seriously, I'm jealous. Like Starscream unto Megatron. I want to steal your pliant, unspoiled tendons. Email me this file and I'll play it at my first wedding reception gig.
Ah Steve, me and my unfettered tendons are flattered. But I don't think this is particularly worthy of being played at at anyone's wedding.
As for emailing you the file... I dunno how things work on a MacPuter, but on a PC, you just click on the link... and when WMP or some other MP3 playing app starts playing the song... you click on the "Save File As" option.
And I would certainly never feel cheated were someone to "steal" my song. Same goes with the photographs. Since I am an amateur artist, rather than a professional, I'm simply flattered if anyone ever wanted to own either.
And Pam... as for a repetoire, I guess I have a few noodlings that I like to play. Maybe, during this new phase of guitar playing, I'll try to record decent versions of all of them.
If I do that, perhaps I'll be inspired to start writing new noodlings.
